One month old

(My mom embroidered this shirt for Olivia...isn't it cute? It was really cute until she had a massive poop blowout diaper and got poop all over her new shirt. Thank you Lord for Shout!!)

Man, where has the time gone? I truly can't believe my little baby girl is one month old already. I wish I knew how much she weighed today but she won't go back to the doctor until she is two months old. Not much has changed since her three week old birthday. She:

-nurses about every two hours during the day, and about 3-4 hours at night
-now loves the swing and bouncy chair and even takes naps in the swing now
-has way more head control at this age than Carter did
-looks so cute in her cloth diapers!
-will smile occassionally and it's not just gas :)
-still loves taking naps on daddy's chest
-is still not on a consistent nap schedule during the day but sleeps great at night...most nights
- wears a size one diaper when she is in disposable ones (which is rarely these days)
-fits into most of her 0-3 month clothes
-crying has subsided some over the past week but still cries when she is hungry or wants to be held
-loves to be in the sling and sleeps almost the whole time when she is in it
-went to church for the first time yesterday
-has already made multiple trips to grocery shop, the library, and mommy's favorite craft stores, an apple orchard, and MOPS meeting.

Olivia, on your one month birthday, I am so excited about how big you are growing but at the same time, wish you could stay tiny for a while longer. I love to hold you in my arms and stare into your blue eyes. I love watching you sleep so soundly on your daddy's chest as he gazes so lovingly at you. I love seeing how much Carter just thinks you are the best thing in the world and is so into your needs. I am the most blessed person on the planet because of you and Carter. Being your mom is such a joy and I think it is no small task I have before me to raise you to be a godly young lady. Thank you for bringing me such joy. My heart overflows everytime I look at you and I thank God for you every single day. I love you Olivia!
